Creativity and Aging
Poetry From Patricia Flasch
Patricia’s passion, her first love, is as a poet and writer. She sees poetry and writing as her lst language, her vein of gold - psycho-spiritual counseling and coaching as her second language... -
She recently wrote her groundbreaking book, “Becoming a Love Dog” which is a tribute to her profound connection with Rumi... Patricia writes from an intimate place sharing her true stories in a wildly open-hearted way. The book is available on Amazon.com. She’s also written a rough draft of a book entitled “Leaving Your Patterns, Not Your Partners."
In addition, Patricia has written more than 100 “real to the bone” poems. You can see a selection on her new web page www.LeadingfromtheHearts.com.
She has "learned-by-heart" many of her own poems as well as the poems of Rumi, Hafiz, Kabir, Mary Oliver, David Whyte, Naomi Shahib Nye, Kim Rosen, Stephen Levine and a plethora of other poets.
She has her own style of being a “spoken word poet.”
Quotes From Patricia Flash
"Relationships are a Holy, Messy Place..."
"Often the partner who explodes (blames others) marries the one who implodes (blames self). This is a match made in heaven because we have come here to heal our stories and it's the only way an alive progressive marriage can be preserved..."
"Creativity is a primary source of inspiration as we age...
Without it, we get old. With it, we become elders..."
